As Chief Financial Officer of Jones Business Systems, a Houston based company; Mike was responsible for explaining to his fellow board of directors and investors that the loss of one month’s profits was a direct result of a data loss. He also explained to the board that because the company used tape for data backup, this was the best possible outcome.
